Ladies of the Light: women lighthouse keepers Online
The presentation explores the lives of some of the women who were called upon to serve as lighthouse keepers throughout the course of United States History. These individuals responded to the need, were required to step out of the traditional female roles, and assumed the job in the absence of men.
Our presenter is Jo Ann Tufo, historian, writer, lecturer and performer.
