South Asian American Heritage Celebration In-Person
Come celebrate South Asian American Heritage with Sangam CT of New London! We'll have dance and music, food, and cultural activities along with crafts for the children to celebrate and promote Indian culture. In the United States, Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, which includes South Asian Americans, is celebrated in May, recognizing the contributions of people of Asian and Pacific Islander descent.
Sangam of CT is an Indian Cultural Association serving the South Eastern CT Indian community. Sangam is a cultural organization dedicated to promoting “Unity in Diversity.” The word "Sangam" translates to “coming together” or “flowing together,” embodying our vision of living in harmony. We encourage participation from individuals of all backgrounds, providing a shared platform for people to engage in social and cultural activities. Throughout the year, Sangam organizes a variety of cultural events, all of which rely on the invaluable support of our volunteers to celebrate the rich diversity of Indian culture.
