Beneath the Polar Sun: a documentary film screening and discussion

Beneath the Polar Sun: a documentary film screening and discussion In-Person

Beneath the Polar Sun documents a small scientific team as they traverse the ice floes between Greenland and Canada. Their mission is to collect data on the ice floes, but soon their main goal became survival. The documentary tells the story of climate change while being an adventure in and of itself, making it uniquely engaging and educational. Stephen Smith and Diana Kushner were part of the expedition, and are co-directors of the film.

There will be a panel discussion after the screening with the directors.

Registration is suggested.
